Types of Mayan Riviera Weddings

There are different types of Mayan Riviera weddings, just like with every other wedding ceremony. They include Catholic weddings, Mayan weddings, civil weddings, outdoor weddings, garden weddings and beach weddings. Your preferences are not affected because every type is catered for in the Mayan Riviera. For Catholic weddings, your wedding planner will organize to have an officiating priest. All you need to do is give them the date you intend to conduct your ceremony and they will liaise with the priest. Non-Catholics too get ministers through their wedding planner so no worries! Civil weddings require a judge to sign the certificates, which your planner can organize. You can then plan for a celebratory party afterwards.

Outdoor weddings are held in the open, either in the back or front yard of a resort or other designated place. Similarly, garden weddings are held in the outdoors. You can also opt to have a purely Mayan wedding, where every bit of the ceremony has a Mayan culture! It would be hard not to incorporate this culture in Riviera Maya weddings regardless of type. The most popular is the music. A selection of special Spanish music is played during the ceremony. The entire ceremony is conducted in Spanish, but there are translators available!
